I know Rowan is right about this. I was given Xanax and it gave me terrible "rebound" anxiety! And I only took it for a few weeks! That was before Xanax was considered addictive. Valium made me even more depressed! I only took it three days!
I use breathing techniques to help control anxiety. It really helps!
