Cake and many well wishes at my meeting this afternoon. The signed card is so precious to me. Those people are just unbelievable! And to think that they weren't in my life a year ago!
All that sobriety "cost" me was one drinking buddy and I don't go to bars. But what I gained...hope, peace, love, friendship.
Grateful for a good life.
