Wow! Part 9! I wish I could see when I started the original Bedtime Gratitude Prayer thread. I know the original prayer went something like this:

Thank you, God, for getting me through another day—another 24 hours—clean, sober, and unharmed, with another chance, another opportunity to live seeking to learn, know, and do your will. Thank you for all your blessings, mercies, and kindnesses, for nourishment and sustenance—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Thank you for all the love and support of family, friends, and professionals.

Grateful for my wife and children. We may have our ocassional disagreements but we do have a home filled with love and laughter. Can't take that for granted.

Richie, heartfelt condolonces on the passing of your ex, I'm sure it's a comfort to have such supportive and strong children.
My first wife has disappeared. I'm grateful for the short time we had together and hope that she's still doing well in her recovery. Maybe someday she'll turn up again.

Sorry I missed last night! I got to missing my kitty again and just went on to bed. Doesn't mean I'm not still grateful, though. I am. Grateful for finally getting all the messages on our phoneline re-recorded with the up-to-date schedule info. And grateful for actually creating enough of a new resume that I could send it out. I'm really glad to have that done.

I'm about to completely zonk out here, so I'll have to make this fast.
Grateful for our new kitten, Klaus. Pictures tomorrow, I hope.
And grateful for Dr. G. at our vet's office. She has really been a blessing this year what with Remy getting torn up by dogs, losing Mariann, and now, letting us have Klaus.
