We all do such a wonderful job of focusing on our alcoholic loved ones. Wishing they would stop drinking, wishing they would act differently, wishing they would go away, or come back, or be someone different. We often are so busy with those situations that we forget we are complete human beings with our own needs and our own dreams, regardless of what they choose to do or not do.

IMHO, this is all of us vocalizing what we want for US.....things we want to be, do, and experience in life that have nothing to do with anyone but ourselves.

It's not something most of us take time to do very often. It's a great reminder, in my book.

What do YOU want for yourself, needtolearn? Just for you?

P.S. and just in case the Universe is listening, I WOULD like that waffle sundae very much, please and thank you
