How long did you do it Tan? My husband tried the South Beath Diet a few years ago for a few months and dropped a bit of weight. I was also on it and I lost none (but I was just on it to make it simpler for meal around here).
My recommendations: Lean protein, lots of fruit and vegetables and
whole grains, nuts, olive oil. Cut out as much refined sugar as possible,Low fat dairy. Not low carb but healthy.
I wouldn't stay on any diet that adds to your depression.
