Agreed with all. Being able to stop hiding and coming clean with the people closest in your life will have an amazing effect on your recovery.
Just bear in mind, some people will get it, and some won't. And that's cool. As selfish as it seems, it's all about you at this point. You can't expect to help, love or take care of someone else until you do the same for yourself.
