His personal recovery is not dependent upon you. It is up to him to seek help for himself--when he is ready. Take care of you and your daughter. It is good that you have an emergency plan in order>should you need it. I don't know if he is an alcoholic or not--but if he continues>he sure does have the potential to become one in the future.
