I am glad you asked this question. For me I find that my friends keep asking if I am still not drinking, at least the ones who track me down to talk to me. It is as if they are waiting for me to come back.? I don't think they understand I don't want it anymore.
So I have the same problem when I see people I used to drink with. Unfortunately my grandmother, who is 89, and two other friends are the only people in my family or people I really know that are sober.
