Did you get to speak with a counselor?
Thank God she got pulled over versus ended up hurting herself and/or someone else.
You absolutely did the right thing- I know the guilt is probably trying to pull you into its orbit but please do not let it.
Remind yourself that you deserve peace and serenity and everytime we help them up on their way down we only prevent them from hitting their bottom.
