Hi everyone and thank you all for your support and encouragement.
The group I joined has a step meeting from 6-7 and a speaker meeting from 7:30-8:30.
My sponsor gets there early and I am glad I was able to go with him last night. The step we were on was step 1 and I think I really needed to hear that. The comments that people gave were powerful.
The speaker meeting was also very good. I really feel that I am a part of this group. There is a core of about 10-15 people who are almost always there, I know them all by name and I care about them.
For so much of my life I never felt that I belonged anywhere. It is a wonderful feeling to be with people who understand me.
