I didn't want to seek help either but I'm glad I did. I got medication that helped me sleep and reduced the shakes (diazepam). If you really aren't in a financial position for a medical assessment or treatment are you able to have a friend stay with you? It is very important that you remain safe. Search the forums for information about the withdrawal process. This
sticky is very informative. I have no doubt others are going to comment on the effects of withdrawal; they've experienced the "horrors".
