years ago when i was in college i worked at a deli. one time i got a spoon and took a bite of what i thought was tapioca. turned out it was whitefish. GACK!
i had never seen or heard of whitefish before--having grown up in a small town filled with "pennsylvania dutch" (ie, germanic) immigrants.
a mistake that i will never make again.
