Don't waste this time without him dreading when he will return. Instead, try focusing on how much you enjoy this time alone. I have two trashy magazines waiting for me when I finish my chores tonight. I plan to watch the evening news, then fix a fresh pot of coffee, complete with my favorite vanilla creamer, then get lost in the magazines.
