I dont have experience myself with alcohol hallucinosis, but it must be very difficult for you to live with these questions unanswered.
If the way to get a handle on your condition is to stop drinking for a period of time, please do that for yourself.
Remain open and tuned in to the changes you go through, and make more decisions as you are getting clearer.
Do you think you can do that? Quit alcohol for say, 90 days? You have my support.
