Thnaks Leviathon, you know it never occured to me that it was cancelling out my anti-depressants.
I still had to deal with the underlying depression, anxiety, general feeling of apathy, unhappiness, etc., but I was able to do that once I was sober.
That is going to be harder than quitting for me, that is what sends me back to the bottle.
I don't think I can take antabuse because of my heart condition, but I will ask him about it.
I will certainly look into Trazadone and ask the doc to prescribe that if he will as valium, librium etc relax me for an hour then I go edgy and nervous with them.
