I have been to AA meetings as well. I find them helpful, but I have so many questions like you do. The people in the meetings I've been have been really short (not rude) with me. I'm not sure if they are hesitant to speak to me because I am new. One lady even suggested that I go to another meeting because there will be more young people there. Due to my DWI situation, I can't drive, so I have to go to the meetings that are a few blocks away. I am also reading the big book. I would like to get a sponsor, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I will keep you posted on what I find. Take care.
