04:50 - I was awakened by my cats who were playing with the blankets. I'm looking forward to getting things done today, though the things are backing up a little at work. It's just one of those times of the year when it's a bit crazy in the office, but I enjoy the balancing act.

Alarm was quickly turned off at 6:15.

Skipping walk today. Sore and old all over. I’ll take this health business a little slower!

Happy Wednesday to all.

Good morning! Woke up at 4am- brain’s wheels ‘a turnin’.

Just to brag, I’ve been backpacking through parts of Vietnam and Cambodia these last new weeks and I’m off to see Angkor Wat today.

I’ve backpacked before. But 100% clean and sober- this is my first time. I am so grateful to be experiencing every high and low.

I wish you all a great 24hrs.

Hello and good morning GotMyBackPack. When did you start this adventure?

Guener 01-17-2019 03:55 AM

I got up at 03:45 this morning after an early night to bed, and I have to go into the office early today to make up time for a medical appointment that I must attend to today. Some good time here on SR this morning has me looking ahead to the appointment with my addiction specialist team leader for a "check-in" and plan update. The coffee tastes very fine today. :)

Feel much better after a nice long sleep. No walk but a neck massage at 8:00 to start a good day.

GotMyBackPack-I’m jealous. Sounds fabulous except for all that walking!

A great Thursday to all.

Good morning everyone!

Up at 6am and off to start my day.

Imvalentine- I started this adventure 6 weeks ago and return home tomorrow. Sounds like you have a great day planned!

STDragon- I feel ya. I’m heading home too to that type of weather. Great excuse to stay in and do self care though!

Wish everyone a wonderful 24hrs.

Have a safe trip home GotMyBackPack, hope you packed a parka.

stargazer016 01-19-2019 11:45 PM

Got out of bed at 2:30 am for work, though have been awake since 1:30am. Snow, sleet and now rain until the afternoon. Dodged a potential huge storm here. I will take the rain over ice.

Have a good day all!

Hoping for another relaxing day.

We have a winter storm watch starting tomorrow afternoon through Tuesday. I’ll wait till morning to go to the grocery store. Everyone will be out today stocking up. Human nature-gotta get bread, milk and toilet paper like we’ve never seen snow.
More stitching planned. I’m determined to get my snowwoman done!

A safe sober Sunday to all.

Had some interestng dreams. In one part, I didn't want to go home because then I would fall asleep and the weekend would be over.

Hope everyone stays safe and sound and warm with all these storm warnings.
