Been a couple of days spent in the resentment zone.
Think I took it to a bottom -- repented -- and mostly done with the process.

4:09 AM Monday morning -- resentment level towards self 2

I'll take it and run with my sober Monday.

Guess we are stuck with family members -- got a mean one here.

Resentment level 8

I know this isn't a good place to be -- I'm working on it.

Holding down our resentments, I have found to be important.

Not always easy -- but, best for the heart and our sobriety.

On a 1 to 10 scale I'm at about a -- 1

Knowing myself as I do, I'm sure that I won't stay that low for long.
I will work on it though.

Loooooow. How lowww can you goooo. lol Good silly mood today.

Mountainmanbob 10-01-2016 12:16 PM

Yesterday resentment level jumped very quickly to a 7 as a person came to mind.

Got rid of those thoughts and it fell to a 2.

We have much control over our thinking.

A man or woman is what they thinkith.

I like that message.

7:09 AM -- resentment level 1 on a 1 to 10.

I'm finding that resentment levels can jump like Jackrabbits. Last night I had a fast 6 towards a couple of people (their self centerness got to me), then realizing that I have been guilty of the same, brought resentment level down quickly to a 2.

Prof that,
with our thinking we have much control -- although at times it will seem that we also need the help of a Higher Power.

As I read back I see where I left something very important out.

Proof that,
With our thinking and without our drinking we have much control -- although at times it will seem that we also need the help of a Higher Power.

Woke up early and it wasn't long until resentment level hit 4.

Quick control of emotions brought it down to 1.

I'm doing well today.

Mountainmanbob 10-12-2016 08:02 AM

My resentment level has really been fluctuating.

Last night in the Jacuzzi 11:05 PM -- resentment level 7
" " " " " 11:15 PM -- " " 4
" " " " " 11:30 PM -- " " 2

This morning 6AM -- resentment level 5
" " 7AM " " 3

Seems there is a spiritual battle going on ?

Resentments been a battle here lately.
Jumping to fast sevens -- 7.
Using mind and heart to bring it back down to a 2.
Then when I least expect it back up to 7.
Straighten out my thinking -- back down to a 1 or 2.
A sober battle that I have been fighting for a while now.

They say that resentments are the alcoholics #1 offender -- dang me !!!

Maybe EGO also has something to do with resentment level ?
Seems my EGO ran just a little wild last night.
Woke this morning in a very humble mood.
Going to work (much harder) on keeping EGO in check.
Resentment level this morning at 5:21 AM -- 1.
Picking up a token at this mornings meeting -- good time to be grateful and humble.

Got a much better plan -- keeping resentment levels down to a 1 or 2.

At a ten for past 2 days. Not healthy. Making meetings, turning it over, then picking up again.

I just need a fun and interesting weekend to keep my mind off it. It's a very deep an personal issue.

Resentment level on a 1 to 10 scale

Holding what I think to be a 1 at this time.
Have had some rocky moments lately at times close to 5.
Much thought mixed with a little prayer works wonders.
I must also admit that I'm far from perfect.
Why would I expect from others what I do not at all times possess ?

I believe I've been carrying around a major resentment the past few weeks - probably hovering at like an 8 or 9 because of my thoughts regarding a loved one.

Last night I went to a step meeting and we discussed Step 4. Now, I haven't yet made it there, so I sat back and listened to everyone speak about their experiences. Unsurprisingly, resentment probably came up more than anything else. It was a meeting that I really needed at that moment.

Strangely enough (or not!), the object of this resentment has reached out to me today to mend some fences. Funny how things work out when we don't TRY so damn hard to control it?
