Hi and Welcome, Tica! :c009:

Robbie64 01-08-2023 12:59 AM

Good morning Weekenders  It's a wonderful sober Sunday morning. The kind of Sunday morning I like.

Welcome to Weekenders Tica

I'm having a lazy Sunday morning. I'm about to have a light breakfast and at lunchtime I'm going for Sunday lunch with the family. I'm looking forward to it as I've not been out for a meal for a while.

Take care everyone.

Been sleeping on and off all day. Billie is doing a lot better today.

Pledging for today. Day 98. 14 weeks since 10/2/22.

Tica,:wavey:
Mags, big hug to you again.
Joe, I love things like that. We don't own a TV but do listen to a program that has that occasionally on late night radio
Spent all day yesterday at the house painting. We got the trim, baseboards done in 2 rooms and the small walk in closet and the walls and shelves done in the closet as well. It is looking far more crisp.

Runner, we were posting at the same time. Woot woot to you!! Almost 100:banana:

Alpine - nothing like a fresh coat of paint - amazing, isn’t it, how color can completely change a room.

Thinking of you, Mags, and sending healing love.

And greetings  love ❤️ to all.

RunnerF 01-08-2023 08:15 AM

Thanks alpine. Hope your move is going smoothly.

Got some more sleep last night. Woke up a while ago and fed Billie. Still feeling crummy and am going back to bed shortly.

Alpine, glad you're getting the painting done. :)

Laid down for an hour but couldn't sleep. Got up and had some chicken soup. Felt too hot so took my temp and it was 99.1

venuscat 01-08-2023 01:35 PM

What temp do you have the apt at, love? It might be an idea to keep the heating on, at a temp that works for you. I don't like much heat, so ours is on 17/18C always, or 63/64F.
I used to turn it on and off, but that was silly...I kept getting chilly.

least 01-08-2023 01:51 PM

I've got the temp on 72 but that feels too hot so I turned it off.

Just set the thermostat a degree or two lower until it keeps the room in a range that's right for you.

least 01-08-2023 07:24 PM

I've tried different temp settings but I always end up feeling too hot so turn the heat off. I sleep in a tee shirt but keep my sweatshirt on the bed in case I get too cold. I just can't get comfy. :dunno:

Pledging for today and the start of the week. Day 99. Looking forward to next weekend and Mags’s inspirational opening message.

This has been a long night and it's not over yet. I still have to get thru my wound appt this morning and maybe when I get home, I can finally get some sleep. I'm so tired now but don't dare go to sleep for fear of sleeping thru my alarm and missing my appt.
