This December thing? We're going to have to postpone it for a little while. I still have things from November I need to catch up on.

Hi.

Hi to you too, L2

Ten years ago I joined the class of December '09 and kept my promise to myself to stay sober. :) I used to think I was hopeless but I was wrong. With the support and advice from the members here, I stayed sober a day at a time, and those days added up quickly.

If I can do it, so can anyone. :grouphug:

I’m joining the class of Dec ‘19

I’m on day 4.

Ready to try December 2019. On day 12. Was a little bit of a struggle getting through Thanksgiving holiday, but made it through. Hopefully ready to take on the next holiday.

Hi :) I’m staying with the class of November but I might pop in here from time to time too. I’m on day 28.

Citrus 11-30-2019 09:18 PM

Same for me too, I'm in the classes of October and November, but the more support the better. ❤

JADIII 11-30-2019 09:21 PM

I’m here. Day one.

Welcome Jad and Citrus SBTS, Strawberry, Final Call, Bobdrop, Head East, Otterisland - and a special welcome to Lapsed 2 as it seems you're new here - welcome aboard :)

Hi Least - thanks for sharing that!

There's no doubt Xmas can be rough but this will be my 13th sober Yuletide - for someone who used to struggle to get 3 days it's a miracle - but I really believe its a miracle achievable for everyone :)

Technically should belong in October as I have 35 days BUT my cravings are all over the place and feel like I’m on day 3 every damn day :(

Dee74 11-30-2019 10:25 PM

Hi GooseMoose - you're very welcome here :)

support really helps :)

why do you think things aren't getting better?
Have you made any other changes besides not drinking?

I'm in again. got a very busy month with festivities, work and other commitments. I need and want to be clear headed and sober to do it. Just taking it a day at a time and ensuring I go to bed sober every night.

Lisalily 12-01-2019 05:23 AM

I’d like to join for December as I didn’t join November . Today is day 15 for me!

Welcome ALL! My class of Feb '16 (heyyyy OOTT who popped in w a thanks above!) was so important to me. I miss our regular posting (ahem ;) ).

And Dec is actually my fave mo of the year. Probably the hardest emotionally, the most beautiful, the most complicated, the most simple....and today is my wedding anniversary so anchoring the month with a very special day is a great start.

Whatever "day" it is for you...you can do this. Glad you are here.
