I am back

I went to my first outpatient appointment today. This is my last chance to detox or I will be put in a detox hospital. I hope some of you are glad to see me back. Happy 4th to all those in the USA. Nothing much has changed since I left.

I'm glad to see you back :)
Glad to hear you went to outpatient, too. I really hope it works for you.
Stick around here, you've been missed and, as you know, there's lots of support.

Thank you for saying I have been missed. It means a lot. I didn’t like reading without being able to reply

Ghostlight1 07-04-2019 08:47 PM

You're welcome. And I really hope you stick around.

Just want to say hi. I regularly follow your threads but don’t post because I don’t think I have much good advice, as I’m only about 6 months sober now. Just want to say I’m rooting for you and welcome back. :).

I've followed your story for a while now Sweeti, and I really hope the outpatient works for you. I was worried about you when you deleted your account and thought of you from time to time and wondered if you were okay.

I hope you decide to make a plan for recovery and stick to it.

I hope out patient can help you make some changes sweetichick.

Thanks for worrying about me. Outpatient are helping me make a plan already. I have been crying nonstop since I saw them and during. Don’t even know what I am crying about.

Hey Sweeti. I’m glad to see you’re back and that you’re in outpatient. I hope the combination can help you do what you need to do to get sober.

sweetichick1 07-04-2019 10:03 PM

Thanks Bexxed. Been thinking of you

Delilah1 07-04-2019 10:58 PM

Glad to hear Outpatient is helping you with a plan Sweeti, hopefully that will be the support you need to get sober for good.

My dad said lots of horrible things like they just see me as a complete waste of time. I don’t care what he thinks. He is renowned for giving bad advice. If I can’t detox at home I will go to hospital. And ultimately rehab. My dad reckons I have too many health problems for rehab. We shall see.

Forgot to mention my mother has cancer. They removed the tumour but still suffering through chemotherapy

Feel like I just want to get plastered as this is my last chance to do so. The doctors 3 now are all over me like a wet towel. Do I ignore them and die or be grateful for their support. I choose the latter one.

sweetichick1 07-05-2019 12:30 AM

Sorry this is turning into more of a journal.

Dee74 07-05-2019 02:43 AM

Sorry for the news about your mother.

I hope you resist the urge to drink again. There's a lot of support here for you to use.
