What's up sweeti? Drinking or not, please check in--

sweetichick 05-20-2019 04:45 PM

Thanks for being so supportive. I have been drinking on and off and are seeing my psychiatrist today. Hopefully I get more valium so I can detox my self again. I have been sick hence no posts. I am sure you are all sick of my relapsing.

KissMyTiara 05-20-2019 04:54 PM

Seems like you are addicted valium also. You need to stop that.

I just don't want to see anyone sink to the depths of despair that I experienced as a result of alcoholism. Instead, I want people to experience all the freedom that sobriety and recovery offers. I want to see an end to the suffering that is active alcoholism. One of the lessons that I have learned in recovery is that won't happen on my timetable; but I have also learned that sobriety and recovery are available to anyone who is willing and takes action.

Dee74 05-20-2019 05:23 PM

I'm sorry you've been drinking sweetichick and that its made you sick again.

Be very honest with the Psych over how much you've been drinking and what else has been going on, ok?

Thinking of you Sweeti. We all just want to support you however we can. I know you know this but every time you drink, you are just reinforcing that cycle and getting deeper and deeper in the hole. Every time you pass up an urge, you will get stronger. But that strength you worked hard for goes out the door when you give in and you are just starting over again making it harder each time. Please don’t give up or give in!

Be careful with valium

Valium is easy to abuse.It

Sounds like you can go to the detox, didn’t they say you could go in if you had been drinking.

AnvilheadII 05-20-2019 06:17 PM

you have been getting valium and self-detoxing for a very long time now. it's not working. you are likely now as dependent upon valium as you are on alcohol. it's just part of your abuse cycle of dependence.

something has to change. what is it going to be? what are you willing to do to save your life?
