Just watched this again, as it always opens my eyes to this illness |
Thank you. I think it is good to watch these documentaries as reminders. I watched part of it and will have to watch the rest later. Sad! |
Yes it’s terribly sad |
Thank you for posting this link....very sad . I'm trying very hard to keep from drinking tonight and watching this is very helpful. |
Glad it helps, it’s such an eye opening documentary |
now- what are you going to do to keep your eyes open to the illness so ya dont drink again, mummy? |
Everything within my power, especially keep up the exercising as it’s really helping |
Wow. Thanks for posting this. I watched it in two parts today and I cried a number of times. I didn’t think I was so bad, but my behaviour is so similar to Mark’s. Truly frightening. |
It’s such a powerful documentary |
I had never heard of it. I have set myself a reminder to watch it tonight at home. |
It’s very sad but gets to the heart of things |
This link doesn't work for me for whatever reason.. what movie are you discussing? I've been interested in watching some material on alcoholism. |
|
Man that's too much for me. |
It’s a documentary that’s filmed about an hour and a half from where I grew up, it’s called rain in my heart |
Thanks suki |
Kinzoku it’s not for everyone, as it is hard hitting |
I've just watched this and it's really powerful. ☹ I'm day 1............again but after seeing this I won't drink today, and tonight am going to listen to one of my audible books. Thanks for posting the link mummy |
Your welcome Pinky and well done keep going |
Thank you for posting this Mummy. I sat and watched the whole programme this afternoon. Very powerful and so very sad. it shows what a truly progressive illness alcoholism is. I think that Vanda also passed away in 2010. I dont know what happened to Mark though. C |
