In regards to saying you “ can’t stop”..... I think everyone here can say if we can , anyone can. Everyone had their own issues and rock bottom, some worse than others. But everyone can stop. You just gotta dig deep. This place is a good start. I wouldn’t worry about not having friends that don’t drink . . . If your thinking about quitting you already know what’s best for you and a few false friends shouldn’t matter. If they are real friends they will still be there for you. Hope your doing good.

Thanks for asking. Going well. Did some household chores around the house and grocery shopping. Other than that filling the time reading and watching movies. Next challenge will be Wednesday which is my "normal" drinking day. Have been trying to fill it up by going out to a nice meal instead but usually end up at the bar.

making concrete plans ahead of time can be helpful in lessening the m.o. Of "ending up" somewhere.
