Hi Mystory. Welcome back!!

I saw you’ve posted here before, and I’m hoping you are formulating a plan to save your life.

For some, it’s AA. For some, it’s not.

According to NESARC, 90 % of us can experience remission (long term/permanent abstinence) from alcohol.

No matter the means, the end goal can be net 90% of the time!!

Here is an example of some general processes that lead you to freedom from addiction:

Being here again is a good start.

You ARE in control——

NESARC = National Epidemiologic Survey on Alcohol and Related Conditions

Thought that might help

Ty D. I just have been drinking plenty of water, tried eating a little, on SR and online meetings. Still feel like crap but im not drinking. The problem like Ive been saying for years I can stop, but can't stay stopped...that 10 to 14 days gets me. that what scares me! Gotta get to f2f meetings, hopefully tomorrow, hopefully i can drive tomorrow. I find SR to be very helpful, but the one thing I do is get serious about f2f support.

I am coming off a long bender myself. I was drinking beer for the most part so, physically, my withdrawals seem mild, however, mentally, I really feel the damage. I feel as though my brain may be more in danger than other organs.
