Happy soberversary Linz! That is a wonderful achievement |
Ayoung woman,,,with a life ahead...and with such good, wise words. Yes- my thinking and feelings exactly. Because I am an alcie- I compare, and you win! I am onhigh noon middle age, 17 months sober. The point here really is you are not lucky- because luck has little to do with the hard work needed for sobriety. Every day, in every way- I am getting a little better. As for pain- I get that. It is always there- at best any pain- emotional or physical means there is stuff that needs healing. Constant pain- and the only way to control it- is to keep moving, trying, taking risks. I will refrain from writing a thesis for you. So (sigh) I will have to make-do.. WELL DONE, AWESOME- I AM (ACTUALLY) HAPPY FOR YOU! |

Well I could actually be considered old to some and young to others. I'm in the middle too :) thank you! Sobriety is hard work. Looking at ourselves is never easy especially the damage we have caused in the mist of our addiction. |
