Go to your meetings at night. The AA peeps may seem funny, but they know what you're going through. What's a weenie? Surely not a person who has the courage to stop drinking and face life without distraction.

Stay strong. You've made it this far...you can make it further. During your times of weakness, draw strength from others. Be proud of your accomplishments, you've fought hard for these last 4 days.

Maybe you could have a heart to heart discussion with your boyfriend. Let him know how hard you are trying to stop drinking and keeping beer in your fridge is a temptation. You never know, he may be very supportive and understanding of the situation. It may make things much easier for you.

One of the worst feelings to me, is the feeling of disappointment after giving into my temptation to drink. The first waking moments the next day hit hard, like a freight train. I hate that.

One of the best feelings is the accomplishment of making it through another day sober. Sweet victory.

Day 4 done! You're one smart cookie. You know what you have to do to stay sober. You asked for support and help and then you took it a minute at a time. Way to go Gina.

Are we in day 5 yet? Bit ahead of you guys time wise, so I may be getting a bit ahead of myself, but Day 5 has broken here and it's looking positive. First think I'll do is say congrats on 4 days and stop it with the weenie stuff. If it has anything to do with sausages, the German variety you get her are strong and robust. Just like the kind of person who knows they need help and ask for it.

hi stu, i'm a #5 today....tu for ur thoughts....we have oscar meyer here and they are weenies like me...we also have weenie (daksunds) dogs...and they are small like me... u put a spell on me :wizard: .... now i'm a big ugly dragon...kiss me so i'll turn back into a weenie. :roflmao
