Yes, very normal Iowa. I was quite resentful & anxious the first couple weeks. You'll go through a few different phases as you begin to heal. Things are going to get better.

I think they are good companion books. And I agree, check out the secular connections for some added inspiration if you haven't already?

Good job on to day 13 Iowa :) Have you had a chance to look at the 24 hour thread, the October class thread, the recovery plan links, and tips on dealing with urges and cravings? White knuckling it through the days sucks. Having a plan to make a life worth living beyond just staying sober is what makes recovery.
