It's happening again guys - we mod bods can't sit here 24/7, so it may be that things will get a little spammy around here from time to time.

I have other things to do tonight. We'll have to bear with the spam until we can sort something more permanent out.

My apologies on behalf of the Forum Teams. We hate this as much as you guys do.

No need to apologize. I know the team already gives 110%.

I see there's 5 spam threads currently.

If you, the moderators, feel comfortable with it, I can help out a bit. I'm not at the pc all the time, I just stay logged in. But I could have deleted those 5 threads.

So if you're comfortable temporarily giving me the ability to delete threads, I can take care of the Korean ones when I see them.

I tend to use the report post button , the triangle one to the left of each post ..

I only do it once per "breakout" as i guess multiple reports would just mean the mod's inbox will get full pretty quick , then I don't engage and just ignore em ..

If i reply to a few real posts the spammy ones will drop off the front page :)

Thanks for the offer Mike but that's not really an option. As it is we're kinda falling over each other cos there's so much of it. :)

Thanks to those who have reported things - the good thing is this spam is pretty obvious so it's not like we have to look for it.

I think this is going to take patience from all of us. Even when a Mod is here, it's very hard to keep up with the spam.

I have contacted the site owners and asked if there is anything they can recommend for us to do or any way they can help out, but since it's a weekend I think we may have to wait until Monday for a response.

Yes, we have a Spam Filter and this is the first time we have ever had a problem of this magnitude.
