i cannot sleep
 

things are going well, but i still cannot get to sleep at a reasonable hour. its a complicated mix of mental problems and i think ive got insomnia of some sort from drug use.

so i thought id post about it. now, im actually sleepy. so, on that note, im off to bed before i change my mind. :wave: i knew posting might help!

Hey Dot--I am sorry you can't sleep. Are you exercising? I know that helps alot. (I have made a decision to start getting exercise today. I am going to do it just like I am not drinking. One day at a time!!)

Hey Dot,
I've heard that our drug use can cause us problems sleeping. I know you've got a little bit of time, but I think my counselor said PAWS can cause problems down the road. Maybe you could check into that. I agree with the exercise thing, too. I just starting playing hackey sack with a group of kids at the meetings. When I get home, I'm usually worn out. Good luck and I hope you get some rest tonight.
