I prefer 'quiet mind' type meditation, and stay away from Eastern Mysticism. In my recovery, I am doing well, being in a good relation and perspective with my Creator, and trying to become 'One' with 'God' does not line up for me.

Horrible weekend, ugly slipup. I get my lorazepam filled today and that will be my lifeline to sobriety.

Sorry I'm not posting much. Now that I am back in school, I have so much homework. I love it because it keeps my mind occupied, but if I'm brutally honest, it keeps me away from social media, even when I need it. I feel really ill tonight, so I'm headed to bed soon. I have one 2 hour class tomorrow and then
"hell day". Wednesday I run for 9-10 hours with school and it's quite draining, even though I love it. Not to mention I'm homeschooling my daughter so I have to worry about her learning plan as well. Her new materials come tomorrow. Gotta stay sober for all this.

I've been encouraged to start studying bible prophecy again because I was so at peace when I was in the past. I'm looking forward to it.

Such a long day today and I am so tired. Going to bed soon, no drinking for me. Another loooooong day tomorrow, so I need a rested sleep.

I am so exhausted. I know this is just a phase, but holy crap. I have so much homework to do and no motivation to do it. I have the next three days off school thankfully, so I should be able to get everything done.
