Jeff, I follow your threads because I'm rooting for you. I don't get to every post, but I seem to recall you had a little apprehension about this day, that you may end up drinking with your regained normalcy.

You don't have to drink over it. :)

You deserve to celebrate, and celebrate hard! Take a stroll, go out to dinner, jump for joy. There are many awesome ways to celebrate milestones without alcohol.
Good job, man!

Thank you, I will celebrate today by starting the conditioning process, I am going to start by going up and down the very stairs that caused this injury for 5-8 minutes to build strength. Gradually increase weekly, then buy a bicycle.

Congrats, Jeff!

When I got my braces off, the first thing I did was ate a carmel apple.

Oh, wait. Never mind.

Ahhhhh, I just got your joke. (I never claimed to be very smart) Classic. I had braces too when I was in 8th grade.

Good job!

Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt, it was the best sandwich I've had in my life.

When things we take for granted are taken from us, we develop a deep appreciation for those very things.

The next challenge now is remain sober, and I will admit, it is going to require effort. I've proven to myself I can do it, now I need to prove to myself that I can keep doing it.
