I agree with the others: no foul, no need to reset but try to be more vigilant and aware in the future.
Maybe bring your own soft drink next time you visit your parents? I don't feel your step dad was being malicious or anything so I don't see a need for confrontation.

Already so excited to be back on here! I'm like addicted to these FORUMS now (haha!)... In all honesty though, I appreciate the support. Can't wait to use this more regularly.

Just do what feels right for you. All we have is today anyway. Don't worry too much about it. I would just move forward. :-)

This is why my beverages of choice are fancy mineral waters, ginger ale or root beer.

:)

I prefer not to play around with 'fooling' myself - or giving the opportunity for an accident to occur like this.

As for your sobriety date, do what makes you feel you are honoring yourself and move on.

What's most important is the learning you can take from this and how it might help add another ***** in your armor.

Thanks guys. So much. Off to my second meeting ever in an hour! I will most likely bring this up to someone.

It went well. Thanks! I got a temporary sponsor since my husband and I are moving in less than a month. She seems great though! I told her about my situation and I feel so much better about it. Great second meeting. Everyone there made me and others feel at home. Love going.
