If you're like me you drank for years. It's difficult in the beginning to let it go.

Your mind will tell you you loved drinking.. but I don't think that's the whole story for everyone. There are really bad times too.

Give yourself some time...change happens over time. One day soon that need for alcoholic will not be there anymore :)

I did not quit when it still felt good. It felt good for a long time, like eight or nine years.

But I drank through the good feelings until I felt like hell all day every day. The alcohol did not make me feel good anymore. I wasn't too far off from an early grave.
