What are some good healing supplements/foods/practices to indulge in in early recovery? Just looking for some suggestions...

A healthy diet is essential.
But many including myself found sugar hits helped. I drunk coke but I've noticed a lot of people went for cakes etc.

Adequate water, food , rest and maybe some light exercise like a walk around the block can help the physical side of things. Getting a checkup with your doctor never hurts either.

Regarding recovery activities, reading and posting here is a great start. Reading about recovery methods, going to meetings, etc - any of them are great.

I found just giving what my body craved was a good way forward, fluids, rest, food!!

In time when things subsided, I then sorted out my diet and exercise, in the beginning it was all about staying Sober!! :)
