I kept slipping up, so... I decided to check myself into a 30 day rehab. Im at the hospital right now and I'll be going right there from here tomorrow. This is something I've been wanting to do for a week while and I think I'll finally be able to get a good plan in place to keep me sober, more than a 5 day detox could. It's scary; had to leave my job because they wouldn't accept the fact that I had to take off for so long, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Updates to follow. Hugs to you all. |
You showed a tremendous amount of courage in doing that. Good job Alpha! |

Good for you Alphabet! Glad you decided to enter rehab and get help. I've been twice and both times were excellent. You will learn a lot of useful information while there and also meet tons of great people. Take care. |

Well done Alpha. I have to admit, I enjoyed my time in rehab. My old employer paid a fortune for it. I learned a lot from it, and they introduced me to AA. |

I always had slips until I got serious about success. I got real help. With massive action everyday I was able to stay sober. I was able to save and invest money. Over time my life got better and better. It takes hard work focus and determination to stay sober. I needed help to stick to my goals. Now that I have beat alcohol once and for all I can achieve my dreams and succeed beyond my wildest dreams. Keep working, keep grinding, ...out! |
Congrats on your new journey. I hope you well and stay with us. Everyone's different and we all got here and continue our walk differently. No matter what us takes. So kudos to you. PS. We would have lost the job any way. I guarantee this was the best decision of your life. Don't ever throw it away.... |
