Proud, proud, proud of you.

I too spent my childhood reading alone (I was an only child). The world feels large, and often, things that other people do so casually feel like immense adventures. As you described the train, and the costumed corporates inside it, and their shiny shoes, it was a powerful visual observation of the "others."

The simplicity and care with which we undertake each new way of being is my favorite part of sobriety - without the alcohol, every change is deliberate. Alcohol allowed me to throw myself in, but, sober, I actually feel all the parts of the new experience. Anticipation, preparation, action, completion, evaluation - feeling everything that happened. I used to get stuck in anticipation, and miss the experience of the other four aspects.

Congratulations! You are very inspiring and interesting to me. Thank you.

What Fandy says, Tetra! That two-day relapse is ancient history! Let it fall naturally behind you as you drive ahead!

Well done Tetra.
By the way, the guy interviewing you, probably hasn't achieved what you have.
Big hugs.
