I can't imagine you would get any severe withdrawals now :) Nothing I've ever read, has suggested they pop up after 5 days. Well done and you never have to go through it again,if you don't want to :c011:

It's once a week, so I will be going Monday. I also looked up a local AA meeting and I think I will give it a try as well on Thursdays.

I'm not sure, but I think detox is different from withdrawal symptoms, and it can take months for the brain to recover from chronic alcohol use. Maybe you should learn a bit about PAWS - post acute withdrawal syndrome.

I'm 145 days sober, and most of the time I feel relatively lucid, but sometimes I'm left feeling like I should be on the short bus.
