thank you so much |
Welcome Tom...will be sending those good thoughts your way tonight and in the future for success in being sober again. |
Good luck tom. Sending positive thoughts |
Good job Tom, time to get to work! |
Welcome Tom, glad you are here. We are about the same age. I didn't take ten years off like you did. I think I started drinking professionally around 1975. I did stop for a year in 2001 just to prove I could do it. Now, 13 years later I am proving it again. This time it's for good. I hope you will continue to make the journey with me. |
Tom, thinking of you. Make it to that meeting! |
Welcome Tom, and good luck :) |
Welcome Tom, glad you are getting to a meeting. You are in my prayers. You can do this. |
Keep coming back Tom. You also have plenty of support here. |
Welcome to SR Tom (You're not far from me :)). I was older when I finally quit for good. I had played with it for decades, always trying to control it. It was much easier to stop than to continue the way I was. It was exhausting to be so dependent on it - & it was no longer fun or enjoyable in any way. Time to kick it to the curb and begin your new life. You don't need it. |
Its great ypu are changing direction, welcome |
