Can you remember a time before alcohol was a part of your life? It might seem scary, but once you get over the initial hurdle, it gets a lot easier.

I had really long periods of sobriety in the past, and when I tried moderation, those times came to an end pretty quickly.

My life is like a carbonated beverage in a bottle. Like beer. Shake it day after day constantly there comes a point when you want to open the lid and let it flow. Release. I can't think of a better analogy. Do I regret my behavior? Sure. But i know of no better way.

Should I give marriage and kids a shot? I have some money and skills to make a lot more. But I wouldn't really wish for any child to be born in the hell hole that is India and Bombay.

The best gift you could give any child (not to mention wife) is a sober dad and husband.
I'd get yourself sorted first, Tony.
