Withdrawals after drinking for only 4 non-consecutive days??? I am starting to think I am getting sick, but I thought I would ask anyways. I am on day 3 again, after a relapse of 4 non-consecutive days. Before that I had almost 2 months straight of sobriety. I have had a nasty headache since yesterday, nausea, and my vision is a bit blurry and pain behind my eyes. The light from the computer screen is even hurting my eyes and making my head hurt more. Could this be withdrawal symptoms? I never felt this when I first detoxed a few months ago. Maybe I am just getting sick?? The flu?? I am going to call my doc when they open at 9 today. Thanks. |
It could be withdrawal. but phone the doc just in case xxxxx |
I'm not a doctor but I'd be surprised if there's not some relationship to alcohol and withdrawal anchorbird Have you read up on kindling at all? http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...lly-again.html Do see your Dr tho. D |
I hope this time you are successful. :) |
If you are sick, seeing a doctor will help. If you are in withdrawals, only consistent sobriety will help. You said in an early post that you are convinced that sober is the answer. Good luck. |
A trip to the Doctor would be highly advisable. |
I agree. Go to the doctor. After that do read the post on kindling that Dee suggested. Glad you are back :) |
I agree as well, I was on day 3 and thought maybe I was getting the flu. It wasn't. I called my doctor and told her what was going on. I suggest you try that. Hang in there! You can do it |
