**{hugs}} you can do it. If the craving persist, just tell your host(ess) you have a migraine, thank them and bail to the next AA meeting or if you do not have one close by to the safety of your house. There will be plenty of other parties..

I know, I am just sooo jealous and they look so good. It's seems like forever....

This is the first time really out since I stopped. The worst part is no one here knows I am an alcoholic, so no one would give it a second thought. I am on my own here...

No you're not, you have the sober SR crew with you :) and I can completely relate to what you wrote. I drank secretly and no one knew I was an alcoholic so if I had a drink, no one would think anything of it but I would know.
Play the tape and remember what brought you to AA and to SR.
One is too many, a thousand is not enough.

You'd know Charliee - and that makes all the difference. I think.

If it's that much internal turmoil for you, though, why not leave?

You r never alone Charliee , remember that. I have to fight this battle , so does everyone here. This is a big test. Did u read the list of things to keep us safe during holidays that dee done? It's full of good advice. One of them is saying don't put importance on tonight it's only another night, compared to your life sober or going back on the drink. Take your time Charlie we r rooting for you.
