At a x-mas party....
**{hugs}} you can do it. If the craving persist, just tell your host(ess) you have a migraine, thank them and bail to the next AA meeting or if you do not have one close by to the safety of your house. There will be plenty of other parties..
play the tape through Charliee - for people like us drinking means lost days, being sick. not being there for our family, doing embarrassing or even dangerous things
I like myself better sober - how 'bout you?

Play the tape and remember what brought you to AA and to SR.

You r never alone Charliee , remember that. I have to fight this battle , so does everyone here. This is a big test. Did u read the list of things to keep us safe during holidays that dee done? It's full of good advice. One of them is saying don't put importance on tonight it's only another night, compared to your life sober or going back on the drink. Take your time Charlie we r rooting for you.
