Today was low key for me, other than 1.5 hours of hot yoga that kicked my butt. :) Third sober weekend down. It feels so good to feel so good. :) See you all next weekend!

I got the dogs brushed, the homemade grape juice made, walked the dogs, laundry done. I kept myself busy today

Did some shopping (without booze) at the grocery store and the farmer's market. Watched the Packer game after that (we won!). Gonna make a low key dinner tonight and retire early.

Made it thru another sober weekend! Turned downed a few drinks, coped with loneliness, spend lots of time with my family, and now just doing some laundry, checking out the forums, and getting ready for the week ahead. So grateful to have spent this sober weekend with all my SR friends. :tyou

One thing I like about working seven days a week. I stay too busy to really get into slippery spots and situations.
Day 75. Never thought it was possible!

Made it through my first weekend! Woohoo!! :dance8: Sticking close to SR has been a huge help in keeping me focused when I needed to stay focused. Thanks, everyone, for just being here.

Congrats, Little Sparrow! That's wonderful news.

It's Monday morning here, and I made it through my second sober weekend. It was a struggle at first, but ended on such a good note. My dear friend and her husband came over for dinner last night. She drinks socially, and we always had that "love-our-wine" bond. She doesn't have any idea how much I drank by myself. But last night, when she arrived, I said, "I'm not drinking tonight, but what can I get you?" She shrugged, like it was no big deal, and said she'd just have water. We had a nice evening after that.

Perhaps I was the one who always pressured her to drink? Perhaps she has a desire to quit drinking, too? Or perhaps telling someone I'm not drinking tonight really isn't the BIG, HUGE DEAL I thought it would be?

Made it through the weekend at the music festival and so glad I did. Cheers and starting Day 11 here.
