Calling all Hounders!!! As the title suggests... I am doing great. I am now into this sobriety trek for a few weeks now. I am really beginning to love every minute! My next hurdle is to stop smoking. I have been smoking way to much and for way too long. It is really time and I am truly ready. So, I have decided tomorrow, Sunday October 6th, is going to be my first nicotine-free day. I have decided that instead of buying a pack of cigarettes in the morning, which is about $10.00/pack, I am going to do my very best to go to a $10 yoga class early evening instead. I've decided to post here for 2 reasons: 1. the nicotine forum doesn't get a lot of traffic and, 2. I really need to be held accountable or I won't do it. I really do need to stop. It is time. :ring Thanks so much! :tyou |
Your going to 'do your best to x,y,z' or you ARE you haven't committed yet :) yet :) you will because you have plenty of reason to |
You have plenty to gain from this :) |
I'm with 13unlucky....either do, or do not. That is the choice. If you are going to just stop until it hurts...then don't bother. It's gonna hurt for awhile and then it's over. :-). Good luck!!!! |

Hi 13 - OMG! You are right! I didn't realize I typed that. I want to edit my previous sentence to: "I am going to go to a $10 yoga class early evening instead." And, I am going to go! |
