Hi Garcia

we're a friendly bunch here - read around and post as much as you like.

15 days sober. Trying to figure out how to live day to day instead of high to high. Missing my family and especially my kids back home

bigsombrero 02-19-2013 02:44 PM

garcia, we were hoping you'd be able to give us a detailed written essay on the breeding habits of various Northern Atlantic plankton species, but since you're clearly unprepared for that we'll settle for a "hello". Kidding of course. I have been on here for just a few months and sometimes I chime in on topics, sometimes I just read them. Good for you for showing up.

iguy 02-19-2013 02:54 PM

hello...i am new also

MIRecovery 02-19-2013 03:00 PM

Hi Garcia,

Welcome to SR.

I find the forums work well when you just post your thoughts. I guess its all too easy to type, think twice, edit, then delete, then type some more, then delete the lot, then not end up posting at all.

Well done on your 15 days.

Sorry, I was just in a light-hearted mood and meant no harm. I am still "new" also. I find that just browsing the newcomers and alcoholism forums for me right now is very helpful. If I have an issue that I'd like to discuss, I start a new thread. I also look at New Posts as well, just to get a well-rounded idea on the variety of people using this board. Good luck!
