Book Suggestion for the ladies of SR I went to a class today and they told us about a shop in San Diego called The Serenity Shop. It is filled with inspirational poems, cards, they have tons of books and literature for recovery. I bought a book called Diary of an Alcoholic Housewife the author describes her decision to become sober, and her journey. It is a memoir, and it has already made me laugh, cry, and think, yup, I've been there. Hope all of you are having a good night. Day 21 almost complete. :) |
Congrats on day 21 :) thanks for book suggestion. I like to read, and haven't read that one yet. Will add it to my list... |

Thanks Dee for pointing out Anna's thread. I've looked at it recently and noted she keeps it updated with fresh suggestions. I'm going to reserve several of the books she lists at my library. Anna, thank you creating this thread - I'm grateful :) |
