Book Suggestion for the ladies of SR

I went to a class today and they told us about a shop in San Diego called The Serenity Shop. It is filled with inspirational poems, cards, they have tons of books and literature for recovery. I bought a book called Diary of an Alcoholic Housewife the author describes her decision to become sober, and her journey. It is a memoir, and it has already made me laugh, cry, and think, yup, I've been there.

Hope all of you are having a good night. Day 21 almost complete.

Congrats on day 21 thanks for book suggestion. I like to read, and haven't read that one yet. Will add it to my list...

Thank you for the book suggestion. I recently read " Drinking, A Love Affair" by Caroline Knapp - you might consider reading it.

They were out of that one, they have ordered it for me. I could have gone to Barnes and Noble, but it was such a cute little shop and owners were nice so I will go back there when it comes in.

Thanks Dee for pointing out Anna's thread. I've looked at it recently and noted she keeps it updated with fresh suggestions. I'm going to reserve several of the books she lists at my library.

Anna,
thank you creating this thread - I'm grateful
