Hi peanut head
I too am new and suffer from anxiety and depression for which am on anti depressants. I'm really determined to get over this, have already found great strength in reading these posts. We will help each other along cos we've both taken the first big step and by admitting there's a problem we are already looking for the solution x

Quit worrying about your health. You're going to the doc's, what, tomorrow? Let her worry about it. Be proud that you're going to see her sober already, that you can tell her you've already taken the first step. Hold your head high and enjoy the day hun - I'm proud of you :)

And, ps, alcohol = v bad for anxiety. Good for anxiety? Exercise, sobriety, healthy food, recognising achievements, having friends. You're ticking off a lot of those this weekend alone. Put on some comfy shoes and go for a walk, it's flawless blue all over our island today. If you look south you might be able to see me waving...
