Only you can decide whether you're being treated fairly here, but do stop for a minute and try and see the big picture here.

I think most of us find when we sober up we have to deal with the consequences of our drinking.

We have to accept the fact that over the course of our drinking career we've done things we're not proud of & we've undeniably hurt the ones closest to us probably many many times over...that takes time to work through and put right...

Whether we like it or not we don't get to set the timetable on how soon they forgive us - if ever.

you need to try harder for that fresh new outlook FM.

ultimately , we come to our sences and try and move on with things, this isnt about other people it's about our problem, day 3yet again, .i'll count this as a marginal victory since i dumped the rest of the liquor down the drain, and dind't seek out my drug of choice. i suppose this reaffirmed how bad i need to get help for this. emotion regulation prolly being the most important currently. just figured i'd post an update.
